Golf Access for San Antonio's Next Generation
Fore the Love of Golf is a nonprofit organization based in San Antonio, TX, created to open the game of golf to young people who might otherwise never get the chance to play. We connect underserved youth with equipment, instruction, and mentorship through accessible, community-driven programs.
Every program we run stays rooted in San Antonio, built by local golf enthusiasts and community leaders who understand what's needed to make the sport reachable. Families across the city can count on programs designed around real access, not just good intentions.
Closing the Gap Between Kids and Golf
For the last two years, our founder has used personal funds to gift scholarships of $1,000 each to two individuals — a small, direct act of belief in what golf can do for a young person's future.
With over 20 years in the golfing field, that experience turned into Fore the Love of Golf: a non-profit built to formalize that generosity and open the door to more kids across San Antonio.
Our Mission
To empower and mentor underserved youth by providing accessible, high-quality golf programs that foster character development, community integration, and life skills.
Our Vision
Through generous donations, we empower young people to enter the game of golf by providing access to equipment, professional lessons, travel support, and dedicated mentorship — for every kid who wants a shot.
